Our method
A research-backed decision, then a small test.
Buyer Proof Lab is for independent course creators who need to decide which buyer, promise and message deserve the first serious test.
1. Define the decision
We start with one course idea or tightly defined niche, the intended buyer, the current offer and the decision the research must support. The 48-hour delivery clock begins when the required intake is complete. If the brief falls outside the stated scope, we will promptly offer a narrower agreed brief or a full refund.
2. Gather and distinguish evidence
We review current public material, customer-supplied information and relevant alternatives. Source-backed observations are kept separate from interpretation. Gaps and uncertainty are labelled rather than filled with invented interviews or results.
3. Compare buyer and message options
The pack includes five useful buyer profiles, awareness-stage messaging, competitor and pricing cues, and more than 50 message angles. We rank candidate segments and messages for evidence strength, relevance and ease of testing.
4. Choose one first test
The priority sheet names one starting segment, three messages and one controlled first test with evidence to watch. Peter Berney reviews the research and the priority decision before delivery. One factual correction round within the accepted brief is included.
Research helps reduce guesswork. It does not prove a course will sell or guarantee traffic, conversion or revenue. The pack does not include course production, ad management, funnel implementation or a full sales page.
